What type of information do we collect?

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. Such information is limited to name, phone number, and email address when you utilize our contact form or subscribe to our email list. We may use software tools (Google Analytics) to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

How do we collect information?

When you subscribe to our email list or send us a message using our "Contact" page, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Why do we collect such personal information?

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To be able to respond to messages from Visitors or contact Subscribers with general or personalized notices and promotional messages;

  2. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we may use to provide and improve this website;

  3. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How do we store, use, share and disclose our visitors' personal information?

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to collect user contact information and disseminate information via email updates. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

We will NEVER share or disclose your personal information with any third party. This applies not only to information collected about RSVP members via paper forms or other methods. All non-digital information is securely stored in the RSVP office.

How do we communicate with our site visitors?

We will only contact visitors via email in response to a direct message through our Contact form or via email newsletter updates to those who have subscribed to our email list. We will contact a visitor via phone if that visitor has specifically requested we do so. Email newsletter updates will typically concern upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, or announcements pertaining to our program.

How do we use cookies and other tracking tools?

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser. They are typically used to keep track of the settings users have selected and actions they have taken on the site. Some cookies are automatically placed on our site by Wix ("first-party cookies"), which are necessary for site security and functionality. You can view a list of these first-party cookies here.

We also utilize Google Analytics to track anonymous statistics about our site usage and visitors (e.g. where they come from, how long they stay, and how often they return). While Google Analytics does not collect any personal information, you may opt-out in order to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics by clicking here and installing the "Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on" for your web browser of choice. Note: this add-on will opt-out for *all* sites, not just ours.

How can our site visitors withdraw their consent?

If you don't want us to store or process your data anymore, please contact us at rsvp@ymcainw.org or send mail to: RSVP of Spokane County, 1126 N Monroe, Spokane, WA 99201.
