All AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers are automatically covered with supplemental accident, personal liability, and excess automobile insurance while in service at an RSVP volunteer station or other RSVP-approved service activity and while traveling to/from their assigned volunteer stations.

AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers may elect to receive reimbursement for mileage or bus fare when traveling to/from their assigned volunteer stations.

We celebrate the contributions of our volunteers to the community with formal and informal events featuring food, fun, and friendship.

AmeriCorps Seniors Volunteers are Healthier, Too!

In addition to the benefits you'll receive as an AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer, research shows that volunteering is good for the health and well-being of volunteers. Older adults who volunteer frequently live longer and report better health. Volunteering can also lead to new friendships and a more positive attitude.
