The AmeriCorps Seniors Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is America's largest volunteer network for people age 55+, with more than 200,000 volunteers tackling tough issues nationwide.
You choose how and where you want to serve, how much time you want to give, and whether you want to share skills you have or develop new skills.
Membership in AmeriCorps Seniors is FREE, open to all individuals 55+, and offers free benefits to support volunteers, including supplemental insurance, reimbursement for transportation costs, and invitation to recognition events.

Project Warm-UP provides hats, mittens, blankets and other much needed items to those
who are low in come, no-income and without housing in Spokane County. This program involves
volunteers who work individually at home and in groups to create warm items which are
distributed through over 40 PWU partner agencies each year.
